Air Conditioning: Wall-mounted Air conditioning units are fitted in all rooms and may be used subject to an administrative charge.
Changing Money: We are happy to change money to and from Euros for our guests at most favourable rates.
Safety Deposit Boxes : These are available if required.
Internet Access: If you MUST check your emails there is an Internet cafe at the beach.
Nearest Chemist: Agros village is 10 minutes by car.
Nearest Doctor: 600 metres, in the centre of Agios Georgios.
Nearest Hospital: A small modern Medical Centre in Agros village, but the main hospital is in Corfu town.
Newspapers: Newspapers in several languages can be bought in the shops near the beach.
Water Quality: The water is considered safe but most English visitors drink bottled water available everywhere.
Weather: Corfu has its share of showers, some heavy, particularly in early and late season, but the main holiday weeks are usually very dry and hot. Great care must be taken to protect against the sun's rays particularly on the beach where there is often a cooling breeze to trap the unwary sun bather.
Local Bus Service: One per day during the summer to Corfu town at very cheap fares for an interesting non-guided excursion. -- 10.15 a.m. daily (not Sundays) --return leaves the town at 4.30 p.m.

Walking: There are some lovely walks around Agios Georgios to meet the requirements of both keen walkers and pleasure strollers. These range from walks in the quiet olive groves and small cultivated fields to longer ones to the headlands overlooking the bay. We can easily arrange car hire for you with reliable local companies at the most reasonable rates possible. (It is usually recommended on Corfu internet forums by regular travellers to book locally on arrival for the best prices rather than before travelling.)

Just ask Theo a couple of days before it is needed.Your car will be delivered to the hotel and collected when your hire period has finished.

There are 2 places to hire Motor Bikes, scooters and quad bikes within a few minutes walk.

Mountain bikes can be hired on the beach road in the middle of the resort.

For most of the season all rooms are taken by Thomsons and the Thomsons' brochure sets out the Terms and Conditions including "What is included" in their holidays.

Breakfasts
We would just remind guests that the basis of the booking from Thomsons brochure is B&B which as stated in the Thomson Brochure is Continental Breakfast only (Greek style). Our breakfasts may be Buffet style. It should be noted that various forms of Cooked Breakfasts can be purchased reasonably (ask for menu).

Booking arrangements 2008
Every year we welcome back many of our previous guests, some returning many times, so if you are still deciding where to go for a holiday contact your Travel Agent now.

For most of the season all rooms are taken by Thomsons and bookings for those weeks (see below) must therefore be made through that Company. We are now in their "Small and Friendly" brochure.

However we may be taking direct bookings via telephone or email for the 1st 2 weeks in May and the last 2 weeks in October (only). This will enable guests who wish to be independant of Tour Operators to take advantage of the cheap flights which are often available at these quieter times. Taxis transfers from the airport can be arranged.
